First-Time Homebuyers 
We assist the homebuyer through the entire process, from potential down payment assistance to the best type of loan, including how to hire a home inspector and the “must do’s” of a home inspection, as well as how to budget to maintain your new home. This class has a $25.00 fee.

Maintaining Your Home Classes teach you how to inspect your home, make necessary repairs, and prepare for the ongoing cost of homeownership. A properly maintained home is safer and requires fewer repairs, saving you tons of money in the long run. Other topics include:  how to prevent foreclosure and how to be a good neighbor for a more enjoyable homeownership experience and sense of community.

Getting Ready for Kindergarten
Learn skills needed to be successful before starting kindergarten. Topics include: preparing your child for kindergarten, skills acquired during kindergarten in Language arts, Math, Listening and Communication, and terminology used by teachers. 

Super Savvy Renter
Learn to navigate through the renting process. Topics include: Parts of a lease, tenant rights and responsibilities, walk through and safety checklist, notice to vacate/eviction proceedings, housekeeping and green cleaning, trash and recycling, pest control, maintenance plan, best practices for operations of home appliances, community resource, healthy cleaning recipes, couponing, preparing your pantry for tough times and cost conscious one dish recipes. 


The Real World
Learn how to navigate through the real world by learning important life skills, such as: Maintaining personal hygiene, using medications safely, communicating effectively in relationships, dressing for success, coping with stress, making decisions and managing your time more effectively.  

Making Cent$ of Your Money
Learn how to manage your finances through topics such as: Living within your means, Maximizing and understanding income, using mainstream financial services, understanding credit and debt, and financial awareness.
